About Harpago
Over 70% of small-molecule therapeutics emerging from today's discovery pipelines are too poorly water-soluble to enable adequate bioavailability after oral intake. This solubility problem greatly hinders pharmaceutical development and ultimately prevents patients from accessing potentially life-saving treatments.

Junior Analytical Scientist
Full-time I Ghent, Belgium
Roles and responsibilities
- Plan and execute chromatographic analyses (content and purity) of samples delivered by the formulation development department
- Develop chromatographic methods for formulations based on our sponsors’ APIs, under the guidance of senior analytical staff
- Manage the stability study portfolio
- Provide interim updates on analytical results in internal project meetings
- Draft analytical sections of reports
- Proactively flag technical or planning issues
- Draft SOPs for analytical equipment
- Train colleagues on analytical equipment
Profile
- Bachelor in analytical chemistry or related field
- At least two years of hands-on experience working with HPLC/UPLC for small-molecule APIs
- Hands-on experience with Waters® chromatography hardware and software is preferred
